Croix de Guerre London Gazette 4th September 1919, 198226 Sapper Thomas Edgar Wilkinson, Royal Engineers, Redcar, Thomas Edgar Wilkinson, formerly of 11th Reserve Cavalry Regt entered the Egyptian theatre of war with the Hampshire Regt on 24th August 1915. Later, as a sapper for the Royal Engineers he was awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre, he was transferred to the Z class reserve in March 1919

Clarice Cliff - A 'Trieste' ceramic tea for two set, in the 'Passion Fruit' design, consisting of; tea pot and cover, milk jug, sugar bowl, two cups, two saucers and one side plate. Marked "Wilkinson Ltd". Tea pot approx. 12.5cm high. Plates approx. 14.5cm diameter. Further Details: Chip and crack to one cup rim into body, slightest nibble to edge of side plate, slightest minor nibble to one saucer underneath rim, a couple of firing flaws to underneath of other, and also some signs of wear, usage discolouration and crazing to all.
Clarice Cliff - Rene Dale - An original hand written letter from Clarice Cliff to Rene Dale on A.J. Wilkinson headed notepaper, the letter reads - 'Dear Rene, I want to thank you very much, for staying on your own. It is just possible that I may come over one afternoon, I certainly would like too. Have you enough money left for your 'bus fares, etc' if not, ask Mr Woods for some (correction) and he will charge it to the works. Why not take one (or two) of the girls to the pictures, and pay for her, I suppose that you are friendly enough by now. I sent your last weeks wages, yesterday, yours Clarice Cliff P.S - I was away over the weekend so that I do not know how you were fixed for money.
