WW2 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes (F.S) Commando Knife, being a nickel silver example with 1st type S shaped guard. Cross hatched grip with brass nut fitting to the top. Doubled edged stiletto blade with remains of Wilkinson Sword etched makers mark and The FS Fighting Knife etched to the other. Blade has been well used and has evidence of sharpening and tipped. Housed in the original leather scabbard with nickel silver bottom chape. Scabbard is missing its top section. Good used example.
