A Geo V 1821 R Artillery officer's sword, very slightly curved blade, 331/2", by Wilkinson, no 55847 (1918), etched with crowned R Arms, Geo V cypher within Union spray, "Ubique", cannon, winged lightning and "Royal Artillery" within Union wreath scrolls, regulation plated 3 bar hilt, wirebound fishskin grip, in its leather FS scabbard. Basically GC (some wear and rust marks, plating and fishskin worn)
A Geo V 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, straight fullered blade, 321/2", by Wilkinson, no 49654 (c 1915) etched with crowned R Arms, Geo V cypher and laurel wreath within scrolled foliate panels, regulation plated hilt incorporating Geo V cypher, wirebound fishskin grip, in its leather FS scabbard. GC, the blade retaining virtually all original polish (dark rust patina to hilt)
A scarce Ed VIII 1897 pattern infantry officer's sword, straight, fullered blade, 321/2", by Wilkinson No 65732 (1936), etched with crowned R Arms, Ed VIII cypher and laurel wreath within scrolled, foliate panels, regulation plated hilt incorporating Ed VIII cypher, wirebound, fishskin grip. QGC
A good ERII officer's 1821 pattern sword of the R Army Service Corps, slightly curved, fullered blade 34", by Wilkinson Sword Ltd, no 86250 (1963), etched with crowned ERII cypher, regimental badge and laurel wreath within Union wreath panels, regulation plated hilt, wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard, with leather knot and oilskin cover. Near VGC, retaining most original polish and plating (lower 12" of blade cleaned, 8" section of scabbard plating bubbled). (Please see lot 801 for image)
An Ed VII pattern 1898 mark I Staff Sergeant's sword, plain, straight, fullered blade 321/2" by Wilkinson with inspector's stamps and "11'02" at forte, regulation steel hilt, as for officer's, incorporating Ed VII cypher, with turned over edge, marked "RP 4.09...." (unclear), wirebound fishskin grip, in its steel mounted leather FS scabbard. GC (some rust stains to hilt and scabbard mounts) (Please see lot 801 for image)
An ERII sword of the Military Knights of Windsor, plated straight DE blade, 30", by Wilkinson Sword etched on one side only with castle, jousting knights, encampment with trees, and single standing knight with banner, within scrolled panels, gilt squared spatulate crossguard embossed with scrolls, plain knop pommel, wirebound composition grip. GC (plating dull and lightly bubbled)
A 1912 pattern cavalry officer's sword of The 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers), straight blade 35", by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, no 53898 (1917), etched with crowned R Arms, GVR cypher, laurel wreath, regimental badge and owner's initials A E P., within foliate scrolled panels, regulation plated bowl hilt, incorporating crown over 6, wirebound fishskin grip, in its leather FS scabbard. GC (blade some wear and dark rust speckles, outer bowl plating bubbled in places, inner bowl rusted) (Please see lot 801 for image)
A 32 bore percussion boxlock sidehammer belt pistol, 8" overall, octagonal twist barrel 31/4" with London proofs, the top flat engraved "Wilkinson & Son, London", scroll engraved frame, hammer and trigger guard, safety bolt, belt hook on left, swivel ramrod, rounded chequered butt with engraved escutcheon and steel butt cap with hinged trap. A late 19th Century Stourbridge glass jug. The circular foot set with a classical form ewer with collar rim and applied arched rope handle. The whole decorated with applied crystal flower prunts with turquoise bead centres over the clear ground, together with an early 20th Century "Urchin" posy bowl decorated with turquoise beads by means of the Wilkinson patent, jug 6" tall.
