(3)(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: The sugar bowl may have a little restoration around the rim. The plate has 6 chip areas around rim and base. The jug appears OK. All pieces have a fair amount of surface wear to decoration.
EARLY VICTORIAN SILVER SEVEN GLASS BOTTLE PIERCED CRUET STAND, having scroll design handle above four branch stem, raised on five scroll design feet, with seven hexagonal facet design bottles (four with glass stoppers, three with silver tops) and associated silver spoon. Sheffield, 1843, maker's mark: Henry Wilkinson and Co. 27cm high x 24cm wide. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: One of the glass stoppers is missing its attached silver gilt spoon, the matching jar still has the other spoon. One or two minor nibbles to the glass bottles and stoppers but no severe chips. Piercing overall in good condition, some hallmarks are rubbed.

BRITISH VICTORIAN LIGHT CAVALRY OFFICERS SWORD Henry Wilkinson (maker) 1821 Pattern Name of owner "F.T.C. Hughes" etched on blade with crowned Victorian cypher on both sides of blade, with decoration deep rust patches, handguard and hilt aged. Black leather scabbard with repair to leather of chape. Metal top Sold to Francis Townshend Cunninghame Hughes Esq when he joined the Cheshire Regt. He then transferred to the Indian army and retired as a Lieut-Col. He was first commissioned May 1885. He ended his career being employed by the Bombay Mint and retired as assay master Bombay Mint 1921.
VICTORIAN INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD Henry Wilkinson (maker of blade) name and proof mark erased but retains Wilkinson number 1845 Infantry Pattern Queen Victoria's cypher on both sides of blade. Handguard of unknown pattern (palm tree in cartouche and floral decoration to outer side bars). The hilt is probably a replacement. Black steel scabbard, This belonged to H.J. Lermitte of the 5th Dragoons and Royal Scots Fusiliers. Lermitte took part in the charge at Laing's Nek during the first Anglo-Boer War and was also present at Ingogo River battle. When his horse was shot from under him at Laing's Nek, he lost his sword.
VICTORIAN BRITISH INFANTRY OFFICERS SWORD Henry Wilkinson maker with patent hilt 1897 pattern blade and handguard marked with King Edward VII Cypher and owners initials. Presentation inscription etched on blade as follows: "Presented to Sergeant R H Haseldine by officers 1st Middelsex Regiment, December 1903" in leather Sam Browne Scabbard. Hilt and blade worn with plating of handguard defective. Served in South Africa 1896-98 and India 1898-1903 and then West Africa 1905-6. Retired as Lieut-Colonel.

VR Cypher on both sides of etched blade and owners crest, complete with sword knot, dented steel scabbard painted black (paint peeling), blade marked with significant rust patches. Sword made for A W Cole Esq of the Royal South Middelsex Regiment of Militia 1867.
