A Victorian British 1888 pattern Lee Metford bayonet Mark 1 Type 2, dated 9/97, maker Wilkinson Sword Co, London, together with a French 1866 pattern Chassepot bayonet, dated 1874 and made by St Etienne, serial number L38666 stamped on crossguard and a Modelo Argentino 1891 Mauser Sword Bayonet, made by the German firm Weyersberg, Kirschbaum & Co, Solingen, matching serial numbers on bayonet and scabbard, P9373, Argentinian crest ground off ricasso as was usual when released as surplus, (3)
