WW2 Wilkinson Made Royal Air Force Aircrew Flak Body Armour, canvas covered armour plated body armour as issue to British Bomber crews flying over enemy territories to protect from flak. This example has been used and has been hit by shrapnel to the edge, inked near this section is “15 JUNE 1944”. Blood staining around this area and on the central strap. Sadly no name or indication of the original wearer but it could well have saved his life.

An early Edwardian gentleman's silver cased half hunter pocket watch retailed by the Army and Navy Stores, London, with presentation inscription to the cover 'To John Wilkinson as a mark of esteem after 15 years faithful & valued service from Mrs Ritson, Ellen Bank, Maryport, Xmas 1901', in original fitted case Ellenbank is a Victorian country house which was constructed circa 1880 and sits in approximately three acres of gardens. It is now a country house hotel.
Union Flag marked CJP 6 Jack flown from HMS Coventry (D118) in March 1982. The flag was sent home from Gibraltar on orders of HMS Coventry's captain, David Hart Dyke before HMS Coventry sailed south on the 2nd April 1982. Documented letter from Lt Commander C.J Pollard RNR who was the Master Gunner on HMS Coventry in 1982. This ship was later bombed and sunk by two bombs from low flying Argentinian A4 Skyhawk aircraft on 25 May 1982 with the loss of 19 crew and 30 injured. After the ship was struck, her crew, waiting to be rescued, sang "Always look on the Bright Side of Life" from Monty Python's Life of Brian., also including an Original Royal Navy Sea Dart Missile Load and Fire Control Unit from a Type 42 Destroyer similar to HMS Coventry HMS Coventry was the first warship to fire Sea Dart surface-to-air missiles in anger when she fired three on 9 May at two Argentinian Learjets which missed the aircraft. Confirmed kills was an Puma helicopter and two A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft, an Original Royal Navy Sea Dart Missile Loading/Jettison Synchro Panel, Original Radar Type 909 Control Unit taken from a Type 42 Destroyer for the Sea Dart Missile System this radar was used to illuminate the target aircraft for the Sea Dart missile to lock onto the signal. This unit proved ineffective with low flying Argentinian Skyhawk aircraft with the radar unable to distinguish between the aircraft and the land and was unable to lock on to the attacking aircraft and Argentinian Skyhawk Aircraft C-215 Identification Panel and Indicator Angle of Attack Panel from Mariano Velasco's Skyhawk used to sink HMS Coventry and shot down by HMS Intrepid in San Carlos waters. 27th May 1982 Skyhawk Identification Panel of Neil Wilkinson HMS Intrepid shot down pilot sunk HMS Coventry 40mm cannon firing off six rounds. Lt Mariano Velasoco one of Skyhawk pilots credited for leading the attack and sinking of HMS Coventry and the only survivor in a squadron of 13 pilots. Plane crashed on Falklands West Island and pilot ejected and after suffering leg injuries walked in below zero temperatures to meet Argentinian forces on the island. Irish Guards Officer's Regimental Pattern Sword by Wilkinson. A very good Elizabeth II example by Wilkinson Sword and numbered 7691. The blade is etched with the Crowned regimental device of the Order of St Patrick and decorated with a EIIR Crowned cypher. The regimental device can also be found in the open guard of the hilt. The shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in original nickel scabbard and complemented with a correct pattern buff leather and bullion sword knot. Near Parade Condition.
Welsh Guards Officer's Regimental Levée Pattern Sword A scarce George V World War One example by Wilkinson Sword London Blade number 52937. Thin blade with GvR crowned cypher. Reverse with regimental badge surmounted by a crown. Open guard with the regimental device, shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in original brown leather field scabbard. Etching remains clear. The absent of Battle Honours to the blade indicates a WWI example. The sword has been refurbished and is parade condition. The scabbard is with wear. The blade number indicates made November 1916.
11th (Prince Albert's Own) Hussars Victorian Officer's Mameluke Hilted Sword by Wilkinson. A superb and rare attributed Officer's Mameluke hilted Levee pattern sword carried by Major H.S. Cayzer, who purchased the sword from Wilkinson in May 1898. Curved unfullered blade with etched decoration depicting a reversed entwined Crowned VR cypher and regimental device. Battle Honours for the Crimea and incorporating the original owners entwined initials. To the forte the cutler's details of Wilkinson and to the back of the blade the number "35884". Fine gilt cross guard bearing silver applied regimental device of a Sphinx resting upon a tablet. Two piece plain ivory grip with gilt floral head patteri. Housed in its original steel and ornate gilt brass floral mounted scabbard, fitted with two loose rings. Overall Near VGC. Major Harold Stanley Cayzer was commissioned into the 11th Hussars in 1901. He resigned his commission in 1913 only to be recalled the following year with the outbreak of the Great War. He served in France being promoted Major in 1915. Later that year he was would by an exploding shell. After recovering he served as a Staff Officer in Egypt. In 1935 he was appointed High Sheriff of Warwickshire.
Life Guards Officer's State Pattern Sword by Wilkinson A superb Elizabeth II period example, the single edged spear point blade with cutler's name of Henry Wilkinson London and is etched with a Crowned EMIR Cypher and battle honours, the last being for WW2. The reverse again with Crowned Regimental Crest. The plated guard is mounted with entwined gilt metal letters LG. surmounted by an Edward Crown and bears gilt metal stud decoration. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in original steel scabbard with gilt metal mounts and two loose rings. Complete with white buff leather guard liner and sword knot. The back of the blade with MOD issue numbers. The sword is in near parade condition.
Mid 19th Century Victorian Unusual Court Sword By Wilkinson Circa 1862. A good unusual example of the type. The double edged 1 inch wide blade with etched decoration, depicting Crowned VR cypher, crossed flags and floral decoration. To the forte the cutler's details and number "1191?". The hilt with double folding shell guards, one with Crowned cypher. The steel bound grip is surmounted by a Crown pommel, which supports a single bar guard. Housed in original black leather and gilt mounted scabbard. The blade number indicates a date of 1862

The blade is etched with Crowned EIIR Cypher, General Officer's device and floral decoration. Gilt cross guard with floral decoration and General Officer's device to the centre. Two piece grip with two floral head gilt studs. Housed in original plated scabbard with two loose rings. Fitted with gold bullion and crimson silk sword knot. The sword has been professionally refurbished, probably by Wilkinson and is in Parade condition. One floral head stud to grip absent.

The light cavalry pattern dress sword with single edged slightly curved blade, with etched decoration of a crowned reverse entwined VR Cypher, Regimental device and family crest. The forte with the cutler's details of Wilkinson Sword and the blade bears the number "30639" (1891). The guard of regulation pattern with three bar open guard with shagreen grip. Housed in steel scabbard. The overall condition is near VGC, etching clear, some wear and knocks to the scabbard ... Accompanied by the Levee Pattern sword. The narrow blade again etched with a crowned reverse entwined "VR" cypher, the reverse with matching family crest. The forte with Wilkinson sword cutler's details (blade not numbered). The hilt with three bar open guard. Housed in correct pattern narrow scabbard. GC Clean condition (2 items)
1822 / 46 Pattern Sword for General and Staff Officers by Henry Wilkinson. A good example, the single edged slightly curved blade bearing etched decoration of a crowned entwined VR cypher and floral decoration; on the reverse is a General Officer's device. To the forte of the blade the cutler's details and the blade is numbered 8954. Gilt brass three bar open guard again with General Officer's device. Shagreen grip with twist wire binding. Housed in polished steel scabbard with two loose rings. Etching to the blade remains very clean and clear. The hilt has been professionally re-gilded.
4th Bn Welsh Regiment Victorian Senior NCO's Sword. An unusual and scarce example. The plain blade with cutler's details of Wilkinson of London and date October 1891. The hilt is of the regulation Infantry pattern of 1845, the fixed brass open guard with a Crowned VR cypher. The guard is stamped "6/99 4 WEL 6" (June 1899 4th Welsh Regiment Sword 6). Housed in steel scabbard. Overall GC, steel toned.
SET OF EIGHT REGENCY ROSEWOOD AND BRASS INLAID DINING CHAIRS BY WILKINSON OF LUDGATE HILL EARLY 19TH CENTURY the scroll backs with curved top rails and pierced splats inlaid with brass, over drop in cushion seats in modern yellow upholstery, raised on plain sabre legs, the frames stamped WILKINSON LUDGATE HILL, maker's initials JM and model 2801 (8) 45cm wide, 84cm high, 40cm deep Note: Joshua Wilkinson established a cabinet, upholstery, carpet and looking-glass warehouse in 1766 in Moorfields. By 1790 the firm was being run by his second son, William, in partnership with his cousin Thomas Wilkinson. Their partnership ended in 1808 when William left to take over the old established firm of Quentin Kaye at 14 Ludgate Hill. The company produced well-made pieces conforming to fashionable Regency design types and marked their furniture, usually with the impressed stamp `WILKINSON LUDGATE HILL'. From 1825 William was joined by his two sons, Williams Ascough and Charles, changing the name, and stamp, to Wilkinson & Sons, 14 Ludgate Hill. The firm continued to trade, under different names into the 20th century.
