12th-10th century BC. A sheet gold discoid pendant with central dome, radiating blocks of pointillé decoration, pierced in four places for attachment. 2.45 grams, 50mm (2"). Property of a central London gentleman; formerly in the Tony Brandon collection, London, UK; formed 1980s; collection number 88. See discussion in Wilkinson, C.K. Art of the Marlik Culture, The Metropolitan Museum of Art Bulletin, New York, 1965. Fine condition, cracked.

A late Vic officer’s sword of a Rifle Regiment, straight fullered blade 32½”, by Wilkinson, no 36264 on backstrap (for 1899), etched on both sides with crowned R Arms without supporters, reversed and interlaced VR cypher, and wreath, in foliate panels, with owner’s crest of a demi lion and motto “Nobilis Ira” on one side, regulation plated steel hilt incorporating crowned strung bugle, plain pommel, chequered backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard. GC, the blade retaining virtually all original finish (hilt and scabbard plating rust bubbled). Plate 7

A Vic General officer’s mameluke hilted sword, curved flat blade 30½”, by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, etched with crowned VR cypher, wreaths and crossed baton and sword on one side, and crowned VR cypher, blank scrolled panel and rosettes on the other, all in foliate panels, ornamental gilt crossguard and langets incorporating crossed baton and sword, ivory grips with gilt rosettes and backstrap, swordknot (replaced), no scabbard. GC, retaining approx 90% hilt gilt (blade cleaned over light pitting) Plate 6
A Vic 1845 pattern infantry officer’s sword, very slightly curved, fullered blade32½”, by Wilkinson, no 7429 (for 1855) on backstrap, etched with crowned VR cypher in tightly scrolled panels on both sides, and owner’s name “Lieutenant Henry St Maur Wynch” in scrolls near forte, regulation brass hilt incorporating crowned VR cypher, stepped pommel, plain backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, in associated brass scabbard (sword does not fully enter) with 2 rings. Basically GC (worn overall, scabbard dented)

Battle of Britain Signed Covers Collection. Album containing around 15+ covers, and around 30 signed labels. Most of these are duplicates of the autographs of Battle of Britain veterans Bob Foster and Michael Wainright. Bob Foster was an ace who flew Hurricanes with 605 Squadron and Wainright flew with 64 Squadron. A good trade lot - you could do lots with all these signed labels. There are also a couple of other signed covers including Tony Pickering, Ken Wilkinson and Geoffrey Wellum.

Lovely 8x12 colour print of a Spitfire squadron relaxing between sorties, signed by ELEVEN Battle of Britain veterans: Geoffrey Wellum, Ken Mackenzie, William Walker, John Keatings, Trevor Gray, Richard Haine, Ken Wilkinson, Graham Leggett, Duggie Clift, Tony Pickering and Peter Ayerst.
A small collection of Clarice Cliff ceramics comprising a "Bizarre" hand painted crocus bowl with black "Bizarre Newport Pottery" stamp to base, diameter 20.5cm, a "Waterlily" bowl with green "Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery" stamp to base, length 22cm, a "Celtic Harvest" preserve pot for Newport Pottery, a some striped wares for Wilkinson, and a printed "Wild Beauty" pattern plate and bowl for Royal Staffordshire Ceramics and Newport Pottery (9). CONDITION REPORT: The large crocus bowl has crazing to the glaze, hairline cracks to the base, some abrasions and rubbing to the paint with minor paint loss, flowering dints to inside of bowl. The Waterlily bowl has very minor abrasions to the paint, some surface dirt. The Celtic Harvest pot has minor crazing to glaze, very little rubbing to paint. The striped soup bowl has restoration to both handles with cracks visible, small restoration to rim, abrasions inside commensurate with use, surface dirt. The two striped saucers have minor abrasions commensurate with use, and minor crazing to glaze,. The brown and blue striped cup has surface dirt, some minor abrasions, possible restoration to the upper handle. The two Wild Beauty items have residue of a sticky label, surface abrasions commensurate with use and surface dirt, some rubbing to the print. The dish has firing spots underneath. The plate has small chip to rim.
A Wilkinson Ltd Royal Staffordshire WWI character jug designed by Sir Francis Carruthers Gould depicting Marshall Foch holding a bottle of champagne, inscribed "Au Diable Le Kaiser", printed marks to base, height 29.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Extensive crazing throughout, hairline leading from the rim. Some surface wear. There is an area of possible repainting to the left elbow. The right hand holding the glass is reglued.
A pair of Victorian hallmarked silver circular open salts of small dimension with repoussé floral decoration, vacant circular cartouches and three ball feet, with a pair of similarly decorated salt spoons, Henry Wilkinson, Sheffield 1879, a further pair of small silver circular open salts with piecrust rims, CE Williams & Son, Birmingham 1920, a pair of silver sugar nips, a silver salt spoon, and a plated salt spoon, combined silver approx 6ozt (9).
