A Victorian Royal Hussars dress sword and leather scabbard, by Wilkinson, inscribed 'FW Stanley' and numbered 36902. Condition Report: Leather Scabbard with metal base plate worn in places and stitching missing. Top metal edge missing. Blade looks to have been recently burnished. Hilt required a clean. Sword stiff in Scabbard.

LORD HORATIO NELSON, 1st Viscount Nelson : (1758-1805) - a nine line manuscript note/letter in the hand of, and signed [Nelson Bronte], addressed to Capt. [James?] Dunbar, from Amerydon Downs, dated Oct. 4th, 1801. * Notes In Nelson's shaky left hand. Nelson is known in correspondence to have excused himself for not writing longer letters due to not being naturally left handed. Nelson lost his right arm at the Battle of Santa Cruz de Tenerife in 1797. *Provenance : Sotheby, Wilkinson & Hodge, Autograph Letters, 10th November, 1893, lot 21.

A Victorian officer's sword, with VR cipher to the guard, the blade marked Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, and another sword and scabbard (damages/loss) (2) Condition report Report by RB The brass guard is slightly loose, the blade has been cleaned at some point, and is heavily greased, the leather scabbard is generally fair, and has been cleaned at some point, although the brass tip section of the scabbard is detached from the main part, no naming or etching to the blade.
