RARE Gil Cohen Gentleman, as you were Dowding at Hornchurch 1940 signed by an incredible 23 RAF Battle of Britain veterans. When originally issued in 2008 this print was one of the Limited Edition number 44 275 and is supplied with the original Vector Fine Art Prints Certificate of Authenticity. Originally the print was signed by the artist, Gil Cohen, and three distinguished Spitfire Battle of Britain pilots, Wing Commander Peter Olver DFC, Squadron Leader Peter Brown AFC and Wing Commander E B B Smith DFC. However, this particular print has benefited greatly by being additionally autographed by 20 other extremely well known RAF Battle of Britain veterans giving an incredible 23 in total. These additional autographs were added during a signing event organised by Vector Fine Art Prints and The Battle of Britain Fighter Association at RAF Bentley Priory on the 13th of April 2008. The original instructions and attendee list for this RAF Bentley Priory signing event are included (please see photographs). Signatures in addition to Gil Cohen are, Wing Commander Peter Olver DFC, Squadron Leader Peter Brown AFC and Wing Commander E B B Smith DFC this print has been additionally autographed by Flt. Lt. Print historical detail: Air Chief Marshal Sir Hugh Dowding, Air Officer Commanding RAF Fighter Command emerges from his staff car during an impromptu visit to RAF Hornchurch in the early stages of the Battle of Britain and chats with Spitfire Pilots who have returned to their base. Their intense clashes with the Luftwaffe in the skies over Southern England still resonate in their minds. Dowding would refer to them as my fighter boys. It was Dowding, who more than anyone, prepared Britains defences against a German invasion years before the start of WW11. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. A Victorian silver trophy cup with embossed decoration and panel depicting a cockerel and hen in a farmyard setting, inscribed verso “Birmingham Poultry Show Awarded to the Honble Miss Russell 1856” (by Henry Wilkinson & Co., Sheffield 1856), 9.2 oz CONDITION REPORTS One handle is coming off from the top of the cup. Arber-Cooke lived in Carmarthenshire, Wales and was an avid collector of European & Asian works of art and an author of the History of Llandovery. He was collecting from the 1940s to the 1980s.

A CLARICE CLIFF WILKINSON 'BONJOUR' SHAPE TETE A TETE TEA SERVICE painted with green and brown bands, comprising tea pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, pair of cups and saucers, and a side plate Generally very good, with no chips or cracks, but there is damage to the lid of the teapot. Two corners have been broken and very crudely re-glued. There don’t appear to any great losses, so I’m sure a better repair could be made. There is overall crazing, but other spots one might expect damage (spout of teapot, scratch marks to plate) all look good
