A late Vic officer’s sword of the Army Service Corps, straight blade 32½”, by Wilkinson, no 35931 (for 1898) on backstrap, etched with crowned R Arms, VR cypher and wreath within tightly scrolled panels, with arms and motto of the Haig family on one side at forte and initials C.A.F.A.W on the other, triple bar hilt with side loop, chequered backstrap, wirebound grip, in its leather FS scabbard (AF). Basically GC (some wear and deep pitting)

An ERII infantry officer’s sword, blade 32½”, by Wilkinson Sword Ltd, no 77133 (for 1956) on backstrap, etched with crowned R Arms, ERII cypher and wreath, on both sides within tightly scrolled floral foliate panels, regulation pierced nickel plated hilt, the guard incorporating crowned EIIR cypher, plain pommel, chequered backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip, with leather knot, in its nickel plated scabbard with leather FS scabbard. Near VGC, retaining most original finish overall (rust speckles to blade edges and top of scabbard.)
A presentation sword made for Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, broad curved fullered blade 30”, with Geo VI period Wilkinson logo at forte, etched on both sides with a lion in large floral and foliate scrolled panels, with Amharic inscription in panel on one side at forte, plated light cavalry type hilt with knucklebow, 2 sidebars, sideloop, plain pommel and backstrap, wirebound fishskin grip. Near VGC (some staining spots to blade). Plate 10
