AN EARLY 20TH CENTURY ROYAL FLEET AUXILIARY OFFICER'S UNIFORM by Wilkinson & Co. of Southsea, comprising a double breasted jacket with eight brass buttons, trousers, and a peaked cap with bullion thread 'R.F.A.' badge; together with a pair of binoculars by Chevalier of Paris, the barrels engraved 'Day & Night', in a khaki canvas pouch.
George V British Grenadier Guards Officers Levee Sword by Wilkinson’s, the sword is complete with the original brown leather covered field service scabbard. Guard has regimental insignia for the Grenadier Guards. Fish skin grip complete with the original wire. Blade is etched with foliage, battle honours and regimental insignia. Original owners initials engraved to the blade “L.H.B”. Base of the blade has Henry Wilkinson mark and edge is numbered 53921. Some light staining to the blade.
George V Coldstream Guards Officers Sword by Wilkinson’s complete with its original grip retaining the wire binding. Pierced hilt with regimental badge. Bullion sword knot attached to the guard. White metal dress scabbard. Blade is etched with foliage, battle honours, original owners initials and monogram, George V monogram, regimental badge and Henry Wilkinson trade mark. Edge of the blade is numbered 31938 and London Made. Sword has been professionally polished for parade wear. Blade length 82cm, total length 101cm.
