Basically GC (some wear, no scabbard, hilt mis-shapen)
A. Wilkinson: a needlwork depicting plumed birds of paradise and tropical birds, 62 x 49 cm*This needlework is sold with a letter written by the artist, aged 82 in 1960. He describes how he never would have believed he could have completed this piece, recounting how he received the 'last sacrament' during the Boer War and was reported dead by the War Office in 1901, later spending time in nine hospitals. CONDITION REPORT: Bears marks around edges from a previous frame. Colours strong. Generally good.

Blade with some light tarnishing. Guard with some minor nicks, guard and grip lightly grubby. Scabbard with general age wear dulled patina to metal and leather. The bag is in poor condition but is names 'H West' in pen. The walking cane is in a heavily worn condition.

HENRY WILKINSON & CO; a Victorian hallmarked silver six division toast rack with engraved monogram 'PD' beneath handle and foliate detail, stamped 'JR' to underside, Sheffield 1844, length 19cm, approx 8.1ozt (af). CONDITION REPORT: One of the divisions has become detached from the frame, all divisions somewhat misshapen, general wear commensurate with age throughout, surface nicks and gouges, one very small split to one joint of the central bar, further minor dents, residual polish, tarnish etc.

An 1828 Pattern Scottish Basket Hilt Broadsword by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, the 89cm double edge steel blade with later silver plating, bearing traces of etching and maker's mark, the back edge numbered 34313, with HW poincon, the nickel-plated hilt with wire bound fishskin grip, cushion fluted pommel with remains of red tassel, with scarlet baize and buckskin liner, the plated scabbard with twin ring suspensions, 108.5cm. The later silver plating to the blade has partially obscured the etched decoration and the maker's mark, there is slight wear in parts. Otherwise good.

An Elizabeth II 1912 Pattern Cavalry Officer's Sword, the 89cm single edge fullered blade etched with the Royal cypher and coat of arms amidst scrolling foliage, by Wilkinson Sword Ltd., numbered 79772 to the back edge, the nickel plated bowl hilt engraved with foliate scrolls, the wire bound fishskin grip with thumb rest, the plated scabbard with twin ring suspensions, 114cm. Blade with patches of light rust, most noticeable near tip. Hilt with some rust spotting and flaking of plating. Fishskin grip with slight wear and apparent damp damage. Scabbard with dent near tip, rust spotting and some flaking of plating.
