Sword: A good 1857 Pattern Engineer Officers Sword by Henry Wilkinson Pall Mall London. Blade 34.5" and numbered 15,599. (Dates to 1868 January ?) Nicely etched with Crown & VR. Wirebound fishskin hilt with POW Feathers & 'by Appointment'. In its steel scabbard throat stamped 'Wilkinson Pall Mall'. In good overall condition. A quality sword with good patination & light pitting. An untouched 'sleeper'.
Sword: An 1897 Pattern Infantry Officers sword by Henry Wilkinson SN:- 60296. In its leather field service scabbard. Etched blade with Geo V Cypher and owners initials C.H.H. Blade 32" (some rust staining) Wirebound fishskin grip, leather troddel. A good sword in need of a little tlc, complete with leather carrying case.

Oak Grandmother Clock, dome top with long two pane door and circular upper pane opening to reveal the applied metal Arabic numeral face, separated by moulded bar bearing a plaque inscribed, 'Presented to Mr. W. Wilkinson', by members of GKB Works staff on the occasion of his marriage 15-7-39', over lower shaped long pane revealing the brass and wooden pendulum, on lower single panel base with stepped square feet, 13 3/4" wide x 61 1/4" high x 9 1/4" deep

CLARICE CLIFF; a preserve pot and cover in 'May Blossom' pattern, and 'Bonjour' shape with black Clarice Cliff Wilkinson Ltd England mark to base, height 11cm. CONDITION REPORT: Two small chips to the outside of one edge of the body, slight abrasions commensurate with age, small chip to the inner rim of one side presumably where there has been a spoon, the lid has a small chip to the underneath of one corner and small surface abrasions to the top, generally surface dirt including slight sellotape marks.

Victorian 1845 pattern Infantry Officers' sword with gilt brass Gothic hilt, dress knot, fullered blade, signed 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall London' and engraved on backstrap - 'H. W. Dennie', etched blade with crowned Royal cipher and scrolls, in steel scabbard.H. W. Dennie was an Ensign in the 41st Foot, joined 2nd West Indian Regiment and transferred as a Lieutenant to 28th Foot in 1842. Major H. W. Dennie - 28th (North Gloucestershire) Foot - served with the 28th Foot in the Crimea at the Siege of Sebastopol in the Winter of 1854 - 1855, where he received severe injuries from frostbite, which necessitated amputation of half the right foot and a great part of the left, in consequence of which he was placed on the retired full pay and with a pension of £150 per annum (medal and clasp and Turkish medal) - source - Harts Army list 1864

Victorian 74th Highland Regiment Officers' Claymore with steel basket guard and wire bound fish skin grip, double fullered double-edged blade, signed 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall London', etched with 74th Highland Regiment badge, crowned VR and crest with G.W.F. initials in steel scabbard. Sold with letter from The National Army Museum dated 1972, stating this sword belonged to Lt. Colonel George W. Fordyce 74th Highlanders (joined 1832 - retired 1852). He commanded his regiment in action at Krome, South Africa in 1851 where he led an ill-fated attack on a Maqoma's Kraal, with the loss of one officer and fourteen men CONDITION REPORT Good original condition - hilt and scabbard has some rust staining but no deep pitting. Blade in good greased order with some minor staining at forte and has been cleaned in the past but the etching is still clear, although a little worn

A George V 1897 Infantry Officer's sword by Henry Wilkinson, 89 cm, slender etched and fullered blade, solid plated steel guard with foliate chasing and engraved for F N Tuff, REKMR, shaped fishskin grip, in leather scabbard, 113 cm overall to/w a leather box and two fencing foils (4)Provenance: The property of a Gentleman. The sword is said to have been owned by Second Lieutenant Frank.Noel.Tuff, Royal East Kent Yeomanry (born 26-11-1889/died on 5-11-1915). Second Lieutenant Tuff was an Oxford Blue for Cricket, and also played for the Kent 2nd XI. He was wounded at Gallipoli on 23-10-1915 and died of his wounds in Malta; he is buried in the Pieta Military Cemetery on Malta.
