† A Geo V Highland officer's broadsword of The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders, claymore blade 32½", by Wilkinson Sword, No 61335 (1928), etched with crowned GVR cypher, regimental badge and officer's initials JUP within frosted thistle wreath panels, regulation plated basket hilt, butt and red cloth liner, wirebound fishskin grip, in its plated scabbard with 2 rings. Great North Of Scotland Railway - Union Castle Line To South & East Africa, fully titled Poster in glazed frame, depicting a wonderful, colour image of BALMORAL CASTLE by Norman Wilkinson. Text beneath the image reads: Offices Of The Company At London, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Southampton & Glasgow. Passengers Booked from Through Booking Stations on the Great North Of Scotland Railway, via Aberdeen, see Time Tables For Train Service. Overall measurements 33½" x 28¼". Some damage where the centre fold has broken through and also a cleanish tear centre left in the sea area. Also a little grubby but a wonderful item regardless and would display exceptionally well.

A 19th century French gilt brass grand sonnerie alarm carriage clock, with repeat by Drocourt, No. 16845, retailed by Henry Capt, Geneva, with a platform lever escapement, inscribed 'H.C. 5. 84.' and striking on gongs, the backplate with maker's trademark and retailer, with a white enamel dial having Roman and Arabic numerals and inscribed 'HENRY CAPT GENEVE', within a gorge case, the underside with three position lever, 7inch (18cm) with original numbered key and associated leather travelling case, the underside with trade label 'W.Payne & Co, 163 New Bond Street.' Provenance by repute - Mrs Ruth Wilkinson.
