*Syria, Banque de Syrie, specimen 500 piastres / 5 livres, Beyrouth, 1 Aug. 1919, by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co., face in brown/purple on multi-coloured underprint, reverse blue and multicoloured, with printed signatures but unnumbered, small specimen perforation positioned on reverse beside signature of Berard (cf. Pick 5; Djaroueh SY6), minor printing fault on face and light traces of mounting in a specimen book at upper corners on face, otherwise uncirculated

TWO BAYONETS comprising a French Gras sword bayonet, the 52cm t-section steel blade marked to the back edge 'Paris - Oudry - 1879', with a hooked quillon with ball finial, wooden grip and brass pommel, in a steel scabbard with non-matching number, overall 66cm long; and a British 1907 pattern sword bayonet, by Wilkinson, marked at the ricasso, with a hooked quillon and a wooden grip, overall 54.5cm long.
A Clarice Cliff "Gay Day" jug of octagonal baluster form, height 18cm, a similarly decorated jug of tapering form, a circular bowl on three supports, a moulded bowl decorated with band of birds amongst foliage, diameter 20cm, and an A.J. Wilkinson Ltd "Honey Glaze" bowl, diameter 20cm (5). CONDITION REPORT: Clarice Cliff jug has firing imperfections to base and small chip to the corner of base, also some rubbing to the paint, especially to edge of beak. The tapering jug has restoration to the beak and also multiple scratches to lower body. The bowl with 3 supports has losses to the paint on the inside and a chip to one support, and crazing throughout. The moulded bowl appears to be in good condition. The Wilkinson bowl has scratches to the paint outside and scratches to the inside.
A Victorian hallmarked silver flat shaped card case with hinged lid and monogram, Deakin & Francis, Birmingham 1886, another example of plain design with pierced internal clips and monogram, probably George Wilkinson, London 1888, and a silver matchbook case with engine turned decoration and monogrammed cartouche, Birmingham 1925, combined approx 4.08ozt (3). CONDITION REPORT: Compressed shaped card case. Vesta hinge is slightly misshapen.
An Elizabeth II Royal Naval dress sword by Wilkinson, London:, the straight single edge fullured blade with foul anchor, crown and 'ER cypher', numbered '1017', above folding hilt with foul anchor, single guard, wire bound fish skin grip, lion's head pommel and gilt mounted black leather scabbard, 78cm blade length.

A George VI Royal Navy Dress/parade sword by Wilkinson Sword Company ,London:, acid etched single edge fullered blade with crown and 'GR' cypher to one side and foul anchor to opposite, gilt hilt with foul anchor and folding thumb inscribed 'J K L Evans RN' wire bound fish skin grip and lions head pommel, bullion loop and gilt brass mounted black leather scabbard and part travelling case, blade length, 79cm long.

NORMAN WILKINSON (1878-1971) SHIPS OF THE CENTURY, a group of sixteen original 'proof set' marine etchings, commissioned by the National Geographic Society, each signed in pencil on the mount and marked C.N.G.S. unframed together with a N.G.S magazine January 1938 with an article relating to the group.

C. Weller.
