A pearlware globular teapot and a cover, with loop handle and pointed knop, finely painted in famille verte palette with a soldier, holding a gun, a cannon at his side, the reverse inscribed in black 'I Never Shall Happy Be, Till My Husband Returns To Me', within a garland of flowers and leaves, and inscribed beneath the spout 'JN & Elizth Wilkinson, Newsham' 16cm high (6 1/4") circa 1795-1800 (some restoration) (See illustration)

Clarice Cliff. Three A J Wilkinson preserve jars and covers, two of Crocus pattern, one in the form of a bee skep, 9cm h, printed Bizarre mark, two 1930s, one 1940s. Bee skep jar - slight wear to the green enamel on the top surface of the rim. Cylindrical Crocus jar also with slight wear to the green enamel on the recessed rim, this cannot be detected when the lid is in position. Third jar - a flat chip to the rim of the cover
Clarice Cliff. An A J Wilkinson Oranges preserve jar and EPNS cover, 9. 5cm h, a bowl in Broth, an Orange Chintz jug and a Crocus beaker, printed Bizarre or Fantasque marks, all 1930s (4) . Oranges jar - in fine condition; the plating on the cover worn. Broth bowl - in fine condition. Chintz jug with vertical hairline crack descending from the lid. Crocus beaker - in fine condition
Clarice Cliff. A pair of A J Wilkinson Ltd Autumn (Balloon Trees) candlesticks, of spool shape, 7. 5cm h, printed Fantasque mark, 1930-c1934. Both in fine condition, with no damage, flaking or discoloration of the glaze or colours and no restoration. Consigned by the executors of a local deceased's estate, and probably in the same family ownership since new.

W.G. GRACE, A POSTCARD OVERSTAMPED LONDON COUNTRY CRICKET CLUB, dated 20 September 1908, with a handwritten invitation to C.T.A. Wilkinson to play in a cricket match, signed by Grace, some slight soiling, together with a signed handwritten letter from Wilkinson to a collector to whom he gave the postcard in 1948, (2). *** Wilkinson (1884-1970) was educated at Blundell's School and later played for Surrey between 1909-1920, being Captain in 1914.
