A Victorian court sword with slender Wilkinson & Co. etched blade with VR monogram, the gilt hilt with cast shell and phoenix heads, knuckle bow, with original pommel tassel and a plumed helmet pommel, gilt mounted leather scabbard, length 92cm. Condition Report: Surface rusting to the blade, also some chips to the blade. The leather scabbard is looking tired and the stitching is coming open. dent to the metal work at the end of the scabbard. The sword 'knot' is also a little perished.
