1783 (17 March) Engraving of the installation dinner at the most illustrious order of St Patrick An impressive framed engraving titled Installation dinner at the Institution of the Most Illustrious Order of St. Patrick in St. Patrick`s Hall within the Castle of Dublin, March 17th 1783. Dedicated to the Most Noble George Marquis of Buckingham, Knight of the Most Noble Order of the Garter and in 1783 Original Grand Master of the Most Illustrious Order of St. Patrick." From the painting by J. K. Sherwin and published by Robert Wilkinson No. 58 Cornhill London on 17 March 1803. With storage label on reverse of Batchelar and Son, Croydon marked with name of Earl Midleton. L Measurements: 24 by 32in., 60 by 80cm.

BARNARD FAMILY A VICTORIAN SILVER DESK STAND of generous proportions, the casket centre top and flank garlanded reservoirs together with the base all fully hall marked as are the drip pans to the flames, London 1862, the flame finials are un-marked but presumed original by precedent, the taper stick and sconce are marked Henry Wilkinson & Co., Sheffield 1846, the made up holder into which the taper stick sits, is un-marked but tests silver, and is clearly a later replacement. The pattern origin ally had an elaborate spirit lamp on top. 25cm x 36cm overall, total silver 1918g

A Bamboo Sword Stick, the later 65cm fluted square section steel blade stamped WILKINSON Mk.I MADE IN ENGLAND, the double boars tusk handle with plated mounts In my opinion this has been put together at a later date. The metal mounts to the handle have been super glued in place. There is no damage
A Dark Stained Malacca Sword Stick, with 77cm plain tapering triangular fullered steel blade, silver collar engraved with a presentation inscription, with horn handle; a Stained Beech Sword Stick, the 61cm tapering steel blade stamped Wilkinson Sword C., Made in England, with foliate embossed silver collar and antler handle (2) The horn handle of the malacca stick has a slightly matt finish towards the tip. The beech stick has a pitted blade, the antler grip is quite porous and the staining is rubbed on the haft.
A Mahogany Sword Stick, the 73.5cm fullered steel blade stamped WILKINSON MADE IN ENGLAND, with silver collar and horn handle; a Beech Sword Cane, with 67.5cm single edge plain fullered steel blade, with pewter collar and pommel cap; a Chinese Bamboo Sword Stick, the 56cm double edge steel blade chased with a mask and foliage at the ricasso, the haft lightly carved with figures and foliage, the handle with root head pommel (3) The mahogany stick has scratching to the wood surface and the silver collar is split. The beech sword cane has grey patching and pitting to the blade which bears traces of blueing. There are two small splits to the grip and the top of the haft. The pommel is dented. There is split running from the ferrule. The bamboo has numerous splits
