A BRITISH 1827 PATTERN NAVAL OFFICER'S SWORD by Wilkinson, the 79.5cm straight blade marked at the ricasso 'Henry Wilkinson / Pall Mall / London', the back edge numbered '47670', the brass hilt with a fouled anchor device to the knuckle-guard, a wire-bound fish-skin grip, and a lion's head pommel, in an associated brown leather covered scabbard, overall 98cm long.

An “RJH Jungle knife”, polished Bowie type blade 7½”, marked “RJH Jungle Knife/Regd Design” in shallow fuller on one side and “Wilkinson Sword/London, England” on the other, brass half guard, diced brown composition grip similar to that of a 1908 cavalry trooper’s sword, prominent pommel nut, in its leather sheath with belt loop and securing strap. Early Production, Pre WW1, 1907 Dated Hook Quillon 1st Type 1907 Pattern Sword Bayonet By Wilkinson & 1st Pattern Scabbard With Internal Chape. This is an excellent 1st Type, hook quillon '07' sword bayonet by Wilkinson, complete with original 1st type scabbard. These bayonets were introduced in January 1908 (see page 186 of British & Commonwealth Bayonets by Skennerton). This example was made in Aug. 1910, a 2 years after production began. The sword bayonet has a 17" steel single edged blade which is stamped on the ricasso with the Kings crown 'ER' (Edward Rex)and '1907' (pattern) together with date '7 10' (Aug 1910) and 'Wilkinson' (manufacturer) . On the reverse it is stamped with inspection marks. The bayonet is fitted with its original 1st Type hook quillon cross guard which incorporates a muzzle ring. The wood grips are in good condition secured with two screw bolts. The pommel is stamped 35. It is complete with its original 1st Pattern leather scabbard with steel locket and internal chape. All the stitching and leather of the scabbard are intact with inspection marks. Est £400 - 600
Victorian officer's sword, Regulation Infantry Sword 1892 Pattern, formerly the property of Capt. F. Amber, 2nd Lancashire Fusiliers, by Wilkinson Sword 13 January 1893, no.31938, in leather scabbard, 99cm long, Major F. Amber is mentioned in The London Gazette, February 8, 1901, with supporting paperwork,. General wear throughout consistent with age, no major faults found
