Apsley Pellatt An extremely fine engraved glass goblet and cover, the latter domed, the goblet having a round funnel bowl and compound stem incorporating a hollow-ball knop above an inverted baluster, on a domed and folded foot, profusely engraved overall in patterns of anthemion, Greek key bands, scrolls, pellets and other devices, the ball knop engraved Pellatt under a crown, second quarter 19th century, 37 cm. The goblet is accompanied by a type written letter on headed paper of John Leslie Antiques, dated 1973, in which it is stated it was purchased from R Wilkinson, author of "The hallmarks of Antique Glass", and that the piece had been inspected by Delomosne amongst others.

Post Medieval - From 1915 AD. A pair of bright metal 'short' spike bayonets with cruciform tapered blades fitted with a handgrip hilt slotted for attachment and with spring-loaded retainer bolt; the blade marked 'C F' below the hilt and stamped with a number to the side of the quillon; with tubular metal scabbards; made for use with the Lebel or Mle 1907/15 Mannlicher Berthier rifles. CONDITION REPORT: Coffee cup with vertical hairline from rim to base, larger bowl with hairline from rim to orange banding base, cream jug with two chips to foot ring, tea bowl with hairline from rim to approximate mid-point of bowl, crazing, manufacturing imperfections, surface wear, scratches and dirt throughout.
