Militaria: a Wilkinson heavy Cavalry Sword, 1821 pattern, having a shallow curved blade and a pierced and engraved solid guard, the maker's mark etched to the blade with 'Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London', above shield, and star decoration surrounding proof stamp verso, the blade is numbered 17093, stamped to back, with a twisted wire and snakeskin grip, checkered pommel and a brass and steel scabbard, blade length 88cm.
Contemporary silver and silver gilt limited edition goblet. 'The Aurum Ely Cathedral Goblet', commemorating 'The Thirteenth Centenary of the Foundation in 673 AD', numbered 25 of 673, with documentation, the silver bowl overlaid with emblem of a mermaid bearing the three keys of Ely on a sweeping octagonal base with wave decoration (London 1975), John Wilkinson. All at approximately 16ozs, 16.6cm overall height
Victorian canteen of silver Old English pattern cutlery with engraved crest, comprising eight dinner forks, four dessert forks, four dessert spoons, four tablespoons, four serving spoons, four teaspoons, six dessert spoons and sifter spoon (Sheffield 1892 / 1895), Henry Wilkinson & Co., together with two silver knife-rests (Chester 1930), eight steel-bladed dinner knives with ivory handles, four dessert knives and a three piece carving set in an oak case with inset armorial shield. Approximately 62ozs weighable silver (52 pieces in total) CONDITION REPORT One dinner knife handle split and the knife sharpener handle split. Overall very good condition
Pair Edwardian silver photograph frames of shaped rectangular form, with easel backs and embossed foliate decoration with rope-work borders (Birmingham 1905), Henry Wilkinson & Co. Ltd., 14.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT Both frames have been heavily cleaned to almost bleach the wooden back plates. One frame has decorative pattern pushed in in places and rope-work inner border is distorted. Lower left corner damaged. Other frame has similar damage to pattern and additionally parts of rope-work inner border are damaged and pieces are missing. Both lower corners are damaged

An 1821 Pattern Royal Artillery officer's sword by Wilkinson, the blade numbered 24361, with leather scabbard. Records show that this sword was sold to its former owner in April 1885. Three bar guard, shagreen grip a/f, length of blade 34.5in. The blade etched with the Royal Arms (supported), VR cipher, RA motto and the initials C H de R. This sword was formerly the property of Brig Gen de Rougement CB, CMG, MVO, DSORA. Brig Gen de Rougement served in Expedition to Dongola, The Nile Expeditions, The South African War and the Great War. Supporting documentation available to view.
