Doyle and S.P. Cromien, 12.8.1987-14.2.1992, serial number FAD 693666, 14.11.90, both part-mounted on paper with cut frames (both very fine/extremely fine, some handling marks). Two Banco Central de Venezuela partial banknote die proof engraver's test strike portrait vignettes of General Rafael Urdaneta in military uniform, as used on twenty bolivares notes circa 1989, each in black on oversized paper/card with details and date '8-3-88' in ink to top right corner, together with two specimen twenty bolivares notes, one a partial proof, the other with red overstamp 'Muestra sin valor' [Sample without value] (all extremely fine), and a photographic portrait transparency, probably used a study. A group of three Banco Central de Bolivia banknote progressive die proof engraver's test strike stages for the obverse of an undenominated note, colour trials in blue with portrait vignette of Antonio José de Sucre to right side, erased values to corners, on oversized paper/card with partial plate margins, together with three die proof engraver's test strike portrait vignettes of Antonio José de Sucre, as used on the aforementioned note, comprising two in brown and one in black (all good/very fine, handling marks, paper discolouration, one with graffiti to reverse). Note: this note does not seem to have gone into production, but elements of it were probably used on others.
