An early nineteenth century camphor wood and brass bound campaign trunk with inscribed plaque for Major General Garvock. Major General Sir John Garvock served in the British army notably in the Ambela campaign Afghanistan. Remnants of three luggage labels including that of Lady Garvock, 24" wide. Condition Report : One handle missing, dents and light damage to mounts, polish marked throughout, no internal tray, key present.
