19th century British Army Officers Steamer Trunk, iron bound black painted wooden construction with handles to either end, marked ' O.H. OAKES ESQ 29th REGT.', records show a Lieutenant Colonel O.H. Oakes, Commanding Officer of the 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment entitled to the Kings South Africa Medal with clasps 'South Africa 1901' and 'South Africa 1902', the Worcestershire Regiment was the old 29th Regiment of Foot, the chest appears to have been used as a flag locker at some stage, 92 cm x 46 cm x 46 cm
