An archaistis Bronze Twin Handled Bronze Tripod Censer. Qing Dynasty, 18th Century. Compressed globular form supported on three Elephant form cabriole legs, rising to a slightly everted rim set to either side with a pair of curved handles cast as an elephant's trunk, the midsection decorated with a band of archaistic kui dragons against a keyfret background, incised mark on base. One similar recently sold in Sotheby's London "Important Chinese Art" sale on November 7, 2018 for a price realized of 7,500 GBP (Lot 80). Diameter of bowl: 9.75 in.

A group of Staffordshire figures including a pair of Dalmatians and a figural spill vase (several items af). CONDITION REPORT: All with usual manufacturing imperfections, crazing, firing flaws, etc, damage includes smaller single man on horseback figure, head has been off and crudely re-glued, leg to front has been repaired/restored, the spill vase with two chips to the central tree trunk and further chip to the moulded foliage, further chip to the base at the rear section, some losses to paintwork, regarding the pair of Dalmatians, one with large and smaller chip to front section to the left facing dog, further fading and rubbing to gilt work and paintwork throughout, also the largest example of the female on horseback has chip to her hat at the front and some notable firing cracks to horses rear leg hoof area.
A canvas and leather travelling trunk, inscribed 'Wanted on voyage, Major JWB Hext RA', width 51cm. CONDITION REPORT: This is a modern example, leather does not match and is patched in parts to sides, general surface wear and artificial ageing throughout, poor quality metalwork and stitching.
