A late 18th Century German porcelain scent bottle, perhaps Kloster Veilsdorf, modelled as a boy and kid around a vine hung tree trunk, painted in enamels and gilt, the later hinged gilt-metal mounts cast as bark; together with another similar German porcelain scent bottle, circa 1780, perhaps Kelsterbach, in the white, with silver mount and stopper, each 7cm high/Provenance: Spetchley Park CONDITION REPORT: 477:The first; tiny chip to tip of one horn of goat. Several small chips to footrim and minor losses to grapes and leaves. The white example; restoration to goats ear and back foot. Chipping to footrim.
