The parcel-gilt vessel in the shape of an elephant, standing firmly on its four legs, the head lifted and looking straight ahead, and its long trunk raised, with a lid in the form of its young, surmounting the top. The bodies of both elephants decorated with zoomorphic elements and archaistic patterns.Condition: Good condition with traces of wear and age, rubbing to the gilt, and areas of malachite, azurite, and cuprite encrustations.
