Lipscomb RTC", containing a large quantity of military shield shaped wall plaques and other wall plaques to include "The Bermuda Regiment", "Defence Force School of Music Australia", "New Zealand Army Band", etc, together with black military mess dress comprising black jacket, white waistcoat and black trousers and a gun barrel section from a 25mm canon, bearing inscribed No. "EEP 278381"
A 19th Century oak long case clock, painted 12 inch dial with subsidiary date aperture inscribed 'Hicks, Birmingham', 30 hour movement, the trunk with mahogany cross banding. h. 207 cm. CONDITION REPORT: No warranty is offered as to the working condition of the movement, the dial is rubbed with some chips, the case has seen repairs and some replacement woods and some surface rubbing and wear.
A Chinese tooled leather travelling trunk, the front decorated with dragons either side of the lock plate and a large character, the sides with iron swing handles and Chinese characters. w. 75 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Heavily worn, the lid still attached but the hinge is very loose and generally needs a bit of TLC and restoration.

A 19th century metal and wood-bound travelling trunk, the domed lid opening to reveal a fully-fitted interior, including lidded hat box and numerous compartments, some decorated with coloured engravings, the locks stamped 'Patented July.1.73' and stamped beneath 'Made by Pritchard & Likly, Rochester, New York', 83cm wide, 50cm deep, 64cm high.
An unusual Japanese Meiji period Shibayama style miniature cheval mirror, the rectangular plate held within a Greek key decorated border and upright decorated with carp above a base set with two drawers detailed with shrimp and fish raised on four painted scrolling supports, height 29cm. CONDITION REPORT: One inlaid fish missing from bottom drawer. Age crack on base from leg to leg. Reglued 2 x 1cm section at base of one of the uprights. Trunk inlay missing sections and section reglued. Top rail reglued.
An unusual collection of ephemera and props relating to Prof. Ernie Leech, humorist, ventriloquist and descriptive vocalist. Included in the lot is a full ventriloquist dummy with body and moving parts to the head, four further heads, the original travelling trunk with label inscribed "Prof. Ernie with his Lilliputian Pierrots", two framed and glazed posters for Collins' Hippodrome, Stoke on Trent and The Lyseum Theatre, Heywood dated 1905, and ephemera including a photograph of Ernie Leech with one of the dummies seated upon his knee, related music scores, etc. Ernie Leech was the grandfather of the vendor and was a well know character from Crewe. In later life he became the licensee of The Angel Hotel in Victoria Street, Crewe and continued to work as a ventriloquist and speaker throughout the area. CONDITION REPORT: Mechanisms need attention, but mostly working. Cracking to the faces and hair loss throughout.
