A Victorian novelty gilt metal trunk desk stand,by Leuchars, 38 Piccadilly, London circa 1860,in the form of a cylindrical trunk with blue buckles, the cover inscribed 'Corp: I E Witherington', to the underside of the cover a white enamelled dial watch, to the interior a pen tray, an inkwell, stamp and match compartment, engraved crest and inscription to the covers 'Presented by the Ladies of Berkshire' and 'Lockinge Camp 1864', length 17cm.Provenance: A Private Collection.

A late George III mahogany and strung long cased clock with swan neck pediment, the trunk with full length door on plinth base, the dial decorated with ship before lighthouse to the arch and figures to the spandrels having calendar and secondary dials supported by a twin train striking movement
A Tête Jumeau bisque doll, closed mouth and paperweight eyes, jointed wood and composition body, two other French bisque dolls and assorted clothing, all contained within a three-layer wood and metal-bound cabin trunk, Jumeau 42cm. Condition -Doll without eyes in place - eyes rattling inside head, one eye chipped at the reverse side, both eyes attention needed; otherwise head good; impressed 7; body and clother fair to good. Jumeau left area of head with unsightly glue-repair; further glue repair across the top of her forehead; tiny chip at her right ear no doubt caused ear-ring; wood and composition body complete but fingers and hands with worn paintwork; original leather Bebe Jumeau shoes. Small doll head impressed PARIS A12, and printed Le Parisien in red; head and body good; clothes discoloured, one shoe missing.
