(B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Rather worn and marked in places commensurate with its age. Provenance - traces its history from South America.
BLACK FOREST STYLE STICK STAND in the form of a seated fox with stylized trunk and twigs on a naturalistic base. 82cm high approx. (B.P. 24% incl. VAT) CONDITION REPORT: Noticeable chip to one of the foxes ears, there are some chips and nicks in other areas and some splits to the foxes body, splits to the trunk and in other areas. General wear commensurate with age.
F.Reid Glasgow; a George III mahogany longcase clock, boxwood strung barber pole banded and inlaid, the arched hood with broken swan neck pediment, having freestanding columns, the long trunk door between canted corners, the 14" dial painted with pastoral scenes, seconds and calendar subsidiaries, the twin train movement striking on a bell, 214cm high.

A 19th Century Regulator longcase clock with eight day movement, thick shaped plates united by four large pillars, dead beat escapement and Harrison maintaining power, twelve inch silvered dial with shaped top, signed Perigal & Date'rrau, Bond Street, London. Subsidiary seconds and hour dials and minute markings around the circumference. Brass mounted wooden pendulum with large brass bob and single brass weight. In a mahogany case with full length door, shaped hood with fluted corners and shaped door, 202cm overall height (door key, winding key, weight and pendulum) CONDITION REPORT This clock has a single train movement with dead beat escapement and Harrison maintaining power. Movement is dirty and pinions are rusty. Although we have not had it going, we believe it was working in the house. Silvered dial has minor scuffing, winding hole is slightly worn and surrounding surface is scratched. Case is in good condition, some minor splits to door veneers, trunk has been cut out to accommodate pendulum swing. Right hand side of plinth has been repaired. Hood has small blemish to right hand side panel
A pair of 18th century style Halifax bird whistles, each conical shaped trunk surmounted with a bird and four further smaller, dripped treacle type slipware glaze, 24cm high CONDITION REPORT: These appear to be late 19th/early 20th century copies. Each crazed and appear rather crude. Glaze chips to edges and high points. One small bird with tip of beak missing. Tails of each birds with chipping. See additional images for clarification.
