This maker is recorded in both Loomes (Brian) Lancaster Clocks and Clockmakers and Baillie (GH) Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World10.04.18, Case has been cleaned to a high standard, later feet, dial has been re-painted to a high standard, movement crutch is missing, with a pendulum and one weight.

An Early 19th Century Rosewood Domestic Medicine Chest,C.1810, of trunk form with single drawer below, rosewood with ebony stringing and brass carrying handles to either side, trunk top with fitted compartments with various bottles, eyebath etc, and a medicine measure and glass syringe, both in turned wooden cases, drawer below with scales, apothecary weights, a funnel, spoons and measure etc, lid containing an early, probably original list of medicines with their appropriate dosages, a further label in the lid reads 'Medicine Chest used by Revd. john Fox Palmer (1773-1838) while at Worcester College, Oxford', width 30.5cm

The engine has a copper boiler with fittings including water gauge, pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include cylinder approximately 1 inch bore x 1 ½ inch stroke, drain cocks with operating lever, ratchet mechanical lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, Stephenson's link reverse, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel. Pickering type governor, chassis details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads, water lifter, hand brake to second shaft, wooden footboard and tool box. The model is finished in red and black paintwork with polished steel brightwork and comes together with a set of miniature hand tools, funnel, axle jack and road lamps. Length 66cm. Width 30cm. Height to top of chimney 44cm. No boiler History available.

Pickering type governor with belt drive from crank, chassis details include spoked straked wheels with polished brass hub caps, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads, water lifter, hand brake to second shaft, wooden footboard and tool box. The model is finished in red and black paintwork with fitted road lamps. Width 16 ½ inches x length 26 inches (42cm x 66cm).
A finely engineered 3 inch scale model of an Allchin Agricultural Traction Engine Royal Chester , built by the late Mr Patrick Avery of Ashbourne, Derbyshire being a scaled up version of the famous W.J.Hughes 1 ½ inch scale model. It is a single cylinder, two speed general purpose agricultural engine. The engine has a copper silver soldered boiler with fittings including protection cased water sight-glass, steam pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include single cylinder approximately 2in bore x 3in stroke, lever operated drain cocks and associated pipework, ratchet mechanical lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, Stephenson's link reverse with graduated lever control, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel, chassis details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads and hand brake to second shaft. The model is finished in red and black lined paintwork with polished brass boiler bands and hub caps. Length 127cm. Width 55cm. Height to top off chimney 87cm. Comes together with drawings for boiler but no boiler history was available.
A Regency Scottish mahogany library clock, round silvered 35.6cm dial, Roman chapter, Arabic minutes, the centre engraved with C-scrolls enclosing subsidiary date and seconds dials, signed Ritchie/Edinburgh, eight-day movement striking on a bell, arched hood, rectangular trunk door flanked by panelled pilasters, 199cm high, c. 1820The maker was James Ritchie, who served his apprenticeship 1798-1805 and who in 1809 founded the firm later James Ritchie & Sons, Edinburgh, which is still going today, although currently under the Smith of Derby Group, clock makers.
