A late 18th century mahogany cased longcase clock, painted dial indistinctly signed for William Lassell, Toxteth Park in Liverpool, list by Loomes as working 1758 to 1807, died 1819, dial possibly by Wilson from the styling/ colours, marked for centre calendar, rolling moon to the arch, 8-day movement with bell strike, imposing and good quality case typical of Liverpool clocks, book-matched flame mahogany veneers to the door, hood retains the inset verre eglomise panels beneath the swan-neck pediment, with two weights, pendulum and winding crank. Height approximately 240 cm. Condition Report: No hood pillars or trunk corner pillars present, all parts contained in the lot are shown in the images.

2020 IOM Rupert Bear Set 5 x 50p Coins: In 2020 the Isle of Man commemorated the centenary of Mary Tourtel's ever-popular cartoon bear Rupert Bear in a collection of fifty-pence coins. The reverse of each coin carries a specially commissioned design depicting characters from the cartoon series: Rupert Bear, Podgy Pig, Bill Badger, Edward Trunk and Algy Pug. Other than the Rupert Bear coin, none of the designs were available to purchase individually.

Restaurierungsbedürtig. Dem Werk ist eine Expertise von Dr. Adolf Schal, Murrhardt vom 14. März 1980 beigegeben, in der Expertise wird die Figur in die Zeit um 1620 eingeordnet und mit den Arbeiten am Überlinger Schutzengelaltar verglichen. | School of the sculptor JÖRG ZÜRN (1583-1635) "Saint Sebastian" 1620Upper Swabia, wood, carved in the round and partly in relief, coloured paint, the high-quality and expressive sculpture shows the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian, tied to a bare tree trunk and clothed only with a loincloth, h: approx. 117 cm. In need of restoration. The work is accompanied by an expertise by Dr Adolf Schal, Murrhardt, dated 14 March 1980, in which the figure is dated to around 1620 and compared with the work on the Überlingen guardian angel altar.

The elephant is adorned with anklets, an ornamental saddle is attached by quasseled belts which are incised on the animal's body. A small noose is attached to the center of the back. Its' trunk is lowered calmly, eyes are inlaid with silver.

He has small ears, the eyes are open and both tusks seem to be intact. The trunk is curled to his left in a small circle.

Sitting in ease position with one leg pendant supporting itself on a small lotus flower, his consort is sitting on his other knee. His consort is dressed in a striped long dhoti, adorned with jewellery and conical headdress, she is holding a conch shell in her hand. Ganesha is also dressed in a short dhoti, adorned with jewellery and wearing a conical headdress. He has four arms and is embracing his consort with one hand. With his trunk he is reaching for the ball of sweet ladhu balls which is placed in his right hand, the upper right hand is holding his broken tusk. Looking at his back we see the pattern of his dhoti and belt as well as his hair decoration.
