TALBOTT NAMPTWICH (sic), the eight day movement with anchor escapement striking on a bell, 12" square brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals and cherub spandrels, the matted centre with seconds dial, ringed winding holes and engraved calendar opening, the case with swan neck pediment on turned columns, the trunk with fluted angles and panel door with mahogany inlaid arch, panel base with moulding, 77 3/4" high, with weights and pendulum (Est. plus 24% premium inc. VAT)Condition Report: Movement very clean, dial very good. The case is structurally sound, but the hood has been cleaned by an amateur and needs re-staining, good patina to remainder bar the replaced base moulding.
