Tape to top end verso. A most interesting pictorial rug, the ivory field featuring flowering tree of life with an elephant with its trunk around the tree at the base; songbirds in the branches; at the top end of the field are two more flowering trees with a male turkey and his hen in the centre; ivory main border with flowers, deer, song birds and game birds. Fine velvety wool.
