An 18th Century oak longcase clock by William Kipling of London, the 12ins square brass dial with wide silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the matted dial centre with subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and turned winding holes, the spandrels in the form of two putti holding aloft a crown, with engraved borders, to the eight day two train movement striking on a bell, contained in oak case banded in mahogany, the hood with moulded cornice and slender turned pillars, shaped trunk door inlaid with chequered stringings, on bracket feet, 78ins high Note: William Kipling recorded as a fine maker working in London 1705-1737

A 1920/30 Car Trunk, labelled The Jaxon Dust Tight Motor Trunk, W E Jackson & Son, Nottingham, with leather side carrying handles and leather straps for securing to a car, with hinged front enclosing space for two smaller cases (lacking), 94cm by 47cm by 64cm; and A 1960's Sirram Hamper, containing a four place setting of floral decorated china cups and saucers, with green plastic storage containers and a Thermos flask, 50cm by 42cm by 15.5cm
A good example of late 18th / early 19th century longcase clock, the square painted 36 cm dial having shell pattern decoration in green and gold to the corners signed T. Richardson, Weaverham and having seconds dial and date wheel aperture. Brass hands are replacements, 8 day movement striking hours on a bell, with weights and pendulum. Case of oak and inlaid mahogany typical of the Cheshire area with square fluted quarter columns to the trunk. Case and winding keys included and a service report from Eric Gent 1993. 200 cm tall. Thomas Richardson is listed in Loomes as working 1795, there is also a John Richardson, Northwich who may be related.
An impressive early 19th century 8-day bell striking James Robinson of Warrington, longcase clock, painted dial with rolling moon to the arch, the dial corners painted with figures representing the four seasons, the case with flame mahogany veneers, full length three pointed top door, square reeded columns to the trunk and square tapered reeded columns to the hood, canted corner base, ogee bracket feet, with weights and pendulum and winder. (Loomes lists James Robinson as working 1824 to 1834 on Scotland Rd, Warrington), height is approx 233cm(Please note we have more pictures of this clock on our Saleroom catalogue)Condition: Clock Appears complete, largely untouched, no major veneer loss, stringing missing from door, base width is approximately 60 cm, height is 230 cm.
An oak cased 8-day longcase clock with 12 x 17 inch arched brass dial and moonphase, signed to the dial Elizabeth Moore, Loomes listed her as c1780 succeeding her husband Francis Moore, both of whom are recorded as working in Ferrybridge, Yorks, the case has attractive dragons carved into the trunk door, along with other carvings probably done later, with pendulum and two cast lead weights.

Collection of six jewellery/gift boxes, predominantly early Victorian, card and paper construction with glass lids, to include one late-Georgian box bearing inset stipple-engraved illustration of mother with two children (possibly Valentine), and one box housing eight containers of glass beads. Together with a novelty gift box in the form of a trunk-within-a-trunk (three boxes in one) (7)

S. Fry with chromolithographic label depicting cats beneath a parasol; a 'Fragrant Souvenir' box by J. Grossmith, Perfumiers, London (in the form of a trunk); a cocoa box by J. S. Fry (in the form of a book); a Pearce Duff baking powder box with label depicting young woman being burnt at the stake; 'The Casket Hair Pin Box', label to base, velvet lid; a box in the form of a tambourine, and others. Together with a Victorian game bearing hand-coloured lithographic label, 'The Figure and Flower Play', containing numerous coloured wooden pieces, and a sheet of 'Silshine Transfers' (12)
An XVIII Century Oak and Mahogany Longcase Clock, the silvered dial with Roman numerals and minute dial inscribed "Heywood, Northwich", the hood with a stepped dentil cornice and fretwork frieze, square hood door with reeded capitals, crossbanded trunk door, reeded pilasters, the base with reeded canted corners, applied panel, on ogee feet, 204cm high.
An XVIII Century Mahogany Eight Day Longcase Clock, the hood with swan neck pediment, square glazed door to brass dial with Roman numerals, moon face and date aperture, inscribed 'A. Coats, Wigan', the trunk with shaped door and reeded column pilasters, on a chamfered base with ogee feet, 224cm high.
