A 19th century longcase clock, named to Robert Clidsdale of Edinburgh, with brass dial, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, decorated with embossed spandrels, with weights and pendulum, 205cm high x 51cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Lot 401 - Old cracks to right and left sides of trunk, some movement to front panel of plinth, unicorn finial with small nicks and chips, horn lacking, chip to moulding below face, bracket below finial has been broken and repaired, damage to fretwork on hood.

A Far Eastern carved camphor wood trunk with figural decoration CONDITION REPORTS Approx 101 x 50cm x 50cm high. Wear, chips, some splits. Quite a few deep scuffs and scratches. Lock dented and mis-shapen and appears to have been moved and/or to be a replacement. Panels are fitted with screws visible to interior (please see photos). The chest bears carving to the front, back, top and to both sides.

Cracks, warping and lifting to veneers, and various repairs to veneers. Left side of trunk is extensively cracked and split. Height approx 226cm, width approx 50cm. We can make no guarantees as to whether movement is complete, nor whether in working order.
