The 13½ ins (34 cms) round brass face having an engraved centre housing a painted penny moon roller aperture, seconds subsidiary dial and inscribed Jos Johnson Dudley. The chapter ring with Roman numerals counting the hours, an outer ring of Arabics counting the minutes and an inner calendar ring with pointer. The hood having a round glazed door flanked by columns.
