A 20th century oak cased granddaughter clock by Kemp Brothers of Bristol having silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and three hole winding with a Westminster chime. The clock face has futi mask / cherub decoration and faceted hands with inscription Tempus Fugt which translates from Latin to English as time flies. Raised on a tapering pedestal base with solid wood trunk having a solid panel with bevelled border work.
A 19th century Welsh moonphase mahogany longcase grandfather clock the dial marked for Rider. Believed to be William Rider, Welshpool. The painted face with moonphase top having roman numeral chapter ring set with faceted hands. Complete with weights and pendulem. Set within a mahogany trunk and hood ( see multiple illustrations ).
Papua New Guinea, Ramu River area, Wokam Village, early to mid 20th century CE. A small hand-carved wooden standing figure. The figure has an enormous head crest, a human-like bipedal body, and a long, hooked nose rather like an elephant's trunk. These figures, with their elongated bodies and hooked noses, are made to represent the ancestors, who have become half human, half sea eagle. Comes with custom stand.
