Early 19th Century Child's Coaching Trunk, mounted with faux leather, with brass strap work to the edges and studded overall, two carrying handles, brass plaque to the top inscribed, 'Elizabeth Johnston', hinged lid encloses a floral fabric lined interior, with a print of two young children to the underside of the cover, 43cm by 24cm by 23.5cm. Replacement faux leather mounts to the exterior. It is split around the hinges on the back. Also splits to the cover and areas where it has rubbed. Brass mount has a couple of small cracks and numerous dents and tarnishing overall. Staining and wear to the interior. Picture ripped. Possibly had some other alterations to the outside.
