The rectangular tilt top having rounded corners and a bordering band of intricate brass inlay framed with stringing, continuing on the sides over a beaded edge. The octagonal centre pedestal having a small ring of lobed carving flaring out to a lower lobed collar and adjoining the triform base with beaded edge. A Splendid Regency Rosewood Sofa Table stamped GILLOWS LANCASTER. The top having two drop leaves with rounded corners inlaid with brass bands. The frieze fitted with two drawers on one side & corresponding dummy drawers on the other; all with brass knop handles and lined keyholes. Standing on rectangular end supports leading down to the trestles raised on scrolled brass hairy paw feet with castors, 27½ ins x 60 ins (70 cms x 153 cms), 28¼ ins (72 cms) in height.

The down-swept arms with padded top & sides raised on elegant tapering columns with reeded & finial-top capitals.
