SP A Royal Christmas Card signed by Elizabeth the Queen Mother [1952?] SP A Royal Christmas Card signed by Elizabeth the Queen Mother [1952?]. Gilt crown to cover. With printed greetings ""With Best Wishes For Christmas And The New Year"" and the Queen Mother`s signature ""Elizabeth R"" in black fountain pen ink. Opposite the signed page is a mounted black and white photograph of the Queen Mother sitting on a sofa and wearing a long dress, crown and ceremonial sash. Overall size 20.3 x 34.3cm when opened. A few stains to cover and light wear to margins, otherwise in very good condition.

A large William IV mahogany sofa, with scrolling rectangular back, above shell form arms, raised on bulbous foliate carved feet, upholstered with embroidered fabric, 85 cm high, 212 cm wide, 62 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: It is in fairly good condition overall, with only minor chips, scratches and dents with most of the chips situated on the sides. The sofa is sturdy with all four feet being stable. The upholstery is in good condition with no visible stains, marks or tears.

A George II style carved mahogany sofa, 19th century, with scrolling back and outswept acanthus carved arms, on foliate carved and scrolling cabriole legs, terminating in hairy paw feet, upholstered in pale blue fabric, 92 cm high, 203 cm wide, 86 cm deep. CONDITION REPORT: The upholstery shows faint staining throughout and some individual stain marks. There is a slight line in the upholstery on the upright to the right hand side (as you look at the sofa) approximately 3cm long, and a slight tear on the far right hand side of the upright above the right arm. The central front foot is missing a section of the carving and the back left foot has a significant chip to a claw. Otherwise the sofa is in a reasonably good condition.

A green leather Chesterfield sofa, 20th century, button back, raised on castors, 74 cm high, 210 cm wide, 102 cm deep; together with conforming armchair, (2). CONDITION REPORT: The sofa is in good condition overall with only minor fading and wear marks throughout. The back casters are different from the front which may indicate a change in the past. The armchair includes three tear marks on the left arm and a mark on its front with some wear to the edges of the bottom of the feet. Otherwise this too is in good condition.
