Meeks, New York, ogee crest rail, stepped scrolled arms, ogee seat rail, massive scrolled feet, height 34 1/2 in., width 79 1/2 in., depth 33 1/2 in. Note: A sofa of this type is illustrated in the well-known 1833 Joseph Meeks and Sons Broadside No. 44.
