A good and unusual Regency period mahogany Sofa Table of diminutive proportions, two half-width drawers, two dummy drawers opposing and on standard style ends carved at the knees with acanthus style ornament, the ends united by a turned stretcher and terminating in cap style brass castors, 73cm wide CONDITION REPORT: Top has at some stage been re-polished although the finish is good, drawers are lined with mahogany, the base also has suffered slightly from sitting in the sun and the front legs and bleached, two dummy drawers, opposing, original castors, nice proportions and the rule joints appear to be in good general order, there is a small historic split where the front left downswept leg joins the upright, otherwise the table appears in generally good condition commensurate with age.
A good early 20th century tapestry upholstered and walnut two-seater Sofa in early 18th century George I style, the Sofa back decorated with figures within a country landscape, the gentleman with long curly hair and holding a decanter and wine glass, the seat cushion (badly ripped and in need of repair) decorated with exotic birds amongst trees etc., raised on cabriole front legs terminating in pad feet and united by an 'H' form stretcher in George I style, 132cm (widest) CONDITION REPORT: A 1cm square hold on the top of the right hand side of the arm (see image).
An early 19th century Regency period upholstered (later) three-seater Chesterfield Sofa raised on turned tapering mahogany legs terminating in large and original brass castors, 220cm wide x 90cm (deepest) this item was originally brought from Olympia, (London) Antiques Fair for a substantial four- figure sum
