A Regency brass-inlaid rosewood sofa table with brass lines throughout and inlaid with foliate motifs, the rounded rectangular top above two frieze drawers, the waisted rectangular stem on a concave-sided platform with four hipped splayed feet, brass paw caps and castors, 73cm. high x 142cm. wide, some restoration.
A Superb Quality Regency Period Amboyna Centre/Sofa Table. The top having two rounded flaps supported on fly brackets and measuring 56 ins x 36 ins (142 cms x 91 cms) inlaid with palissander crossbanding outlined in fine stringing dividing the surface into eight oblong panels with rounded corners, and edged in boxwood. The frieze fitted with two drawers either side crossbanded in palissander and retaining their orginal brass knop handles cast with foliate whorls, above an octagonal centre column and four sabre legs edged in boxwood and leading down to the brass lionpaw feet and castors.
