Lot 1323
A Regency mahogany sofa table, fitted with two frieze drawers and with centre lobed and turned column with four downswept legs terminating in scroll feet. Width 95 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally very sound. The top is a good colour. It is also flat. There are minor stress fractures but no significant issues. The flaps are not warped. The right hand rule joint has a loss around the hinge. The right hand drawer has a veneer loss to the right hand side. The left hand drawer has nibbles to the drawer surround. The turned centre column is in good condition. One of the four scrolls at the top of the rear right hand leg is missing. The front left hand leg has had a break behind the carving. This is solidly repaired and not an issue.
Lot 1248
A Regency brass strung sofa table, each flap with rounded corners, with two frieze drawers with centre tablet, lyre shaped support and four downswept legs terminating in castors. Width 88 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There are no open splits to the top but there is a small knock on the right hand edge. There is no warping. There is a small section of brass inlay which looks as if it may have been replaced on the lower section of the lyre support and on the same side there is a 3.5 cm split at the top of the lyre. The drawers ahve oak linings. Generally in good clean order throughout, an attractive table.
