A Regency Rosewood, Crossbanded and Brass Inlaid Sofa Table, early 19th century, with two rounded drop leaves, re-entrant corners, above two real and two sham drawers, raised on turned column supports, four sabre legs with brass cast feet and castors, 96cm by 68cm by 70cm Stringing starting to lift, some sections glued down. Fine natural? splits to the top, with general scratches and ring marks. Some movement in pilaster supports. Section of veneer missing to one leg. Strengthening repair work to legs with further small veneer losses and fine splits around base and legs. 110615

A 1920s Walnut Framed Double Cane Three Piece Bergère Suite, recovered in yellow and gold chenille, the sofa with acanthus carved frame, squab cushions and overstuffed seat, raised on shell carved stout cabriole legs with pad feet, 213cm by 82cm by 93cm, and a pair of tub chairs en suite, 84cm by 70cm by 87cm Framework with some variations in colour. General scuffs and bruises, more so in the sofa. Canework generally good. Some very minor faults. Upholstery good. 090615

A Victorian Ebonised and Parcel Gilt Scroll End Sofa, late 19th century, in Regency style, recovered in red and cream striped silk and velvet, scrolled back support, lion mask terminals and reeded frame, raised on carved paw feet, 250cm by 75cm by 89cm Fabric good quality and in good condition. Framework with various paint losses and flaking. Movement in frame, particularly one end section, small section of timber missing, rather weak. Later webbing to underside with previous close-nail marks. Braces, which look Victorian, fixed to framework for strengthening. 110615
