A 19th century rosewood sofa table, with brass line inlay, on four turned supports, a concave sided platform base, and four downswept legs, 145 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GH Scratches, dents and wear to the top, one particularly prominent dark scratch, some uneven sun fading, some water staining. Some of the brass line inlay has evidence of being reattached at some point, and some of it is slightly proud of the surface. Some of the brass line inlay on the rear facing frieze has been replaced by wood inlay, otherwise reasonably good. The turned columns are in good condition. The downswept legs are in reasonable condition, with some veneer damage, and some slightly loose brass line inlay. All casters and feet present and appear correct.

A Regency style sofa table, veneered in amboyna, on sabre end supports, 129 cm wide Condition report Report by GH The table is actually 130 cm wide with the flaps fully extended. With the flaps down it is 80 cm wide. Age appears to be possibly mid to late 19th Century. Report by RB The top is faded, with scratches, some water damage (especially to one flap), and has a very minor warping and very slight split, drawers to one side only, one of the sabre end supports is split and starting to come away from the turned pole stretcher. One drawer front with a split. Overall, quite an attractive table, now requiring some repair and restoration.
