A George III-Style Blind Fret Carved Mahogany Sofa, 19th 20th century, of diminutive proportions, covered in green cut velvet with overstuffed arms and seat, on square chamfered supports with brass castors and joined by a pierced stretcher 114cm by 54cm by 83cm The framework and rear legs have a rather varnished finish. The pierced spandrels around the legs have various repairs. With some general scuffs around the legs and cross stretcher. The sofa is structurally sound. The underside has previous signs of nails from either upholstery or webbing. The upholstery is in reasonable condition.Provenance: From a deceased estate in North Yorkshire.
