A mahogany sofa table, of American influence, with moulded edge and serpentine shaped flaps, fitted two short drawers to the frieze, raised on ornate spiral twist and leaf carved legs, united by a turned understretcher mounted at each end with lyre-shaped motifs, stylized animal leg supports with paw feet and castors, 29 x 39 x 29in. high.
A good Regency penwork rectangular library table of "Sofa Table" form, the top decorated with a wide band of scrolled leafage and mythical birds, fitted two real and two dummy drawers, on lyre pattern end supports with turned stretcher, the out-scrolled legs with cast brass paw pattern feet, 58ins wide 25ins deep x 27.5ins high
