Charles Jenner Dolls House - A large Tudor style wooden dolls house attributed to Charles Jenner of West Sussex. The impressive house measures 102cms (H) x 107cms (W) x 79cms (D). The four roomed house with lift off roof sits on top of a wooden cabinet (which also comes with lot) which measures 44cms (H). The house comes with an assortment of furniture and accessories in various scales and materials, including cabinets, sofa, crockery, beds, wooden fireplace, copper ware, and similar. The house has an unattached window and window frame (present), otherwise house appears to be in Good condition overall. Furniture and accessories show signs of display, generally appearing Good overall and are unchecked for completeness. (This does not constitute a guarantee)
A red leather button back chesterfield sofa, with a buttoned seat172w x 95d x 70h cmOverall condition is complete and usable. Generall slightly dirty with loight surface marks as expected from use. The surface has worn and cracked most visibly on the seat towards the centre. There is a small hole between the second and third buttons on the front right as you look at it. Buttons and studs appear to be complete.
A contemporary designer sofa in the Edwardian taste, the high back and swept arms above a well stuffed and over sprung seat, upholstered in Pierre Frey cut velvet, raised on ebonised square tapered front supports terminating in castors, purchased through Bryce Mckenzie design of Edinburgh. UV reveals minor fine retouching the sitter's cheek and chin as well as a few areas of broader retouching in the sofa lower left.
